Let me say that as adorable as she looks in the picture, Melissa and I wish that she would sleep like that at night! In the past hour I have done three diaper changes, feed her about 2 ounces of expressed breastmilk, not to mention the several feedings Melissa did beginning at 9:30. This is all due to her sleeping at the laundromat. Which was really nice to get out for a bit.
It's been really great that Melissa will not feel weird breastfeeding in public. I gotta say that I admire her for committing to breastfeeding Alison overall.
It is rather exhausting for her, especially at night. We are 100% breastfeeding so I really can't feed her formula at night, except only when we have some expressed milk in the fridge. So it is a HUGE commitment, but the benefits are amazing for both mother and baby!
